In April, the City-Wide Clean-Up was a huge success!
We had over 135 visits from residents; we filled over 5 large roll-off dumpsters, three loads of metal were removed, several loads of brush to be disposed of, and recycled over 137 tires.

Back-to-School bash is coming up Saturday July 25th - we are still accepting donations, the event will be at the Middle School Pavilion this year.
This year our goal is to provide over 500 backpacks and free haircuts to our local students.

Main Street downtown area, they are currently working on repairing the electrical issues down there, we are waiting on an update from Oncor to get that work started.

Dog Kennel update: We have water! Water is connected, pole has been set for power, waiting on Oncor to complete set up. 

The striping was completed for the downtown area; it looks great!

We are still currently working on our planning grant to update all of our maps.

We are making a list of missing signs; those should be ordered soon.

The MDD is paying for renderings for both of our parks: City Park and the youth ball fields. This rendering will help show us our potential.

To improve transparency, we are now publishing the entire council packets on the website prior to the council meetings.
Please feel free to attend those, we meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month. The MDD starts at 6 pm and the Council starts at 6:30 pm.
